Trails
We do not allow:
  • dogs
  • biking
  • motor vehicles
  • skiing
  • camping
  • picnicking on trail
  • smoking or fires
  • collecting or harvesting
We invite you to enjoy  over 2.5 miles of trails from April 1 to November 31 from
8:30 until 5pm.  We are
closed for the winter when we allow our trails to rest
and allow our limited staff to focus on the research, education, and land protection
that makes the Gorge a special and unique resource.

The Gorge is a private preserve, not a public park. Our trails are open only
to hiking.

While we understand this can be an inconvenience, the rewards are many. Our
hiking paths are narrow and winding, well kept, yet rugged. Visitors have the
experience of a remote wilderness within an hour's drive from one of the world's
largest cities. It is important that we impart this experience to all our visitors.
