One of MRG’s newest land acquisitions, Taylor Preserve of the Mianus River Gorge is 21 acres of hemlock / oak woodland surrounded on three sides by the Mianus River. Until a permanent trail system is developed, Taylor Preserve is only open to the public by guided tour, led by Rod Christie, Executive Director. This is a relatively short up-and-down hike over uneven terrain that showcases the River and views from the top of the ridge. Please wear good footwear and bring water.
RSVP to info@mianus.org or call (914) 234-3455.
Meet at the Newman Mills Park parking area, just south of 330 Riverbank Road, Stamford, CT
