Volunteers are needed for a community River Clean-Up along the banks of the Mianus River. Teams of 5 to 10 volunteers each will patrol and pick up garbage along a ½-mile stretch of the River, from the Connecticut border on Bedford-Banksville Road to Millers Mill Road in Bedford. After the clean-up, we’ll all get together for lunch provided by MRG at Bedford Village Memorial Park. Families, scout troops, environmental and community service clubs are welcome!

Wear work gloves and boots, and plan to get dirty. RSVP to info@mianus.org or call (914) 234-3455.

The mission of Mianus River Gorge, an independent, not-for-profit organization, is to preserve, protect and promote appreciation of the natural heritage of the Mianus River watershed through land acquisition and conservation, scientific research and public education throughout the region.
