Hello,
Our names are Alison Meyers, Jose Montiel and Meredith Davis. We are a group
of three high school students enrolled in the science research course at Briarcliff
High School. In this three year course our objective is to choose a topic of interest
and develop an original research question and conduct our own study. We are
interested in studying deer abundance at the Mianus River Gorge.
Here is where you come in! We need your help collecting data for our research
which we will then compare to camera studies being conducted by Mark Weckel at
the Mianus River Gorge.
Your participation in this experiment is crucial towards helping us demonstrate
that citizen science can be a reliable way of collecting data. We hope you are able
and willing to help us in collecting data for our research and if you have any
